The Pilates Method builds strong postural and abdominal muscles through a unique series of mat exercises. Each exercise stretches and strengthens your muscles while opening your joints and releasing tension.
The technique itself is founded on a set of principles which works the whole body in balance, co-ordinating the upper and lower musculature with the body's
centre. This can often dramatically improve strength, flexibility, posture, and co-ordination. Pilates has been effective in eliminating back ache, slumped shoulders, and repetitive strain syndrome.
